Gym Opening

We aim to open by December 2024.

If you signed up for a membership at any of our other locations you we will be able to switch it over when the Union City location opens up. There will not be any new enrollment fees for switching locations.

We are planning on having a sauna in each locker room along with showers.
A large studio space for fitness classes.
A shake bar, along with meal prep kits and energy drinks.

We launched the presale prices in January of this year, each month on the 1st these prices will increase slightly. The monthly membership will require a full month’s payment to reserve which will be applied to your membership once we open (also refundable). You will also be grandfathered into this rate as long as there is no lapse in the membership, the presale rate will remain the same even after we open.

Yes. Please email support@heightsfitnessunioncity.com to submit a request to cancel the presale membership you purchased for a refund.

Memberships

No, we do not. Our monthly autopay memberships are not contracted to a specific date. You can cancel your autopay membership any time before the next billing cycle on the 1st.

Contracts don’t allow you to cancel your membership anytime you want. Even though you must officially cancel your membership with Autopay, you can do so anytime you wish. If you haven’t filled out the cancelation form that doesn’t mean your membership has ended, however. If you want to be able to disappear anytime you like than you should choose the Month-to-Month membership.

Yes. We have sign up fees for some of our memberships. All sign up fees must be paid at the time of sign up.
No, we cannot waive the sign up fee. We do not offer passes for friends or acquaintances.

Everyone except day passes must have a key-fob to get into the gym. We have the right to refuse your entry if you do not have your key-fob. Key-fobs are a onetime purchase for $5. Weekly pass holders have the option to purchase it if they want 24-hour access.

If your key-fob stops working, we will give you a new one free of charge. If you lose your key-fob you must repurchase a key-fob for $5.00.

Yes, members are able to place their membership on hold for $10 per month. For members with shared accounts, the freeze will apply to the membership with the lowest cost.

You have the right to cancel your autopay membership at any time before the 1st of the month without being charged. Cancelations can easily be done on our website with the instructions below:

At this time, we do not offer phone cancellations or in person cancellations with our front desk.
If you fill out the cancellation form after your desired cancellation date and you are charged, you will not eligible for a refund. Please submit your request before the 1st to avoid being charged.

Yes, stop by the front desk and they will check you in. The additional fee would be $10.00 per visit anytime outside your original time frame of your membership.

It is mandatory to leave a card on file for all autopay memberships.

We accept all major debit and credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover, AMEX. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash.

Stop by in person and the front desk person will update the card info for you.
Guest Passes

Anyone who lives local to the gym can visit the gym for their first time for free with valid I.D. Each visit afterwards is $10.00.
Out of town visitors must purchase a $10 day pass each time.
Holidays are excluded and first-time visitors must buy a day pass during staffed hours.

We offer daily, weekly, and monthly passes. These short time passes must be paid in full and start the day they are purchased and continue until expired. All pricing for passes are located on the membership page of our website.

You may bring a guest for $5.00 fee. If you have a vampire membership or come during unstaffed hours use the square terminal to check out your guest.

Yes, you can add up to 3 people to your account for a discounted rate on some of our membership options.
Personal Training

Though our front desk employees aren’t certified trainers they are more than happy to show you how to use equipment.
If you would like a more personalized tutorial, you can schedule a complimentary session with one of our trainers or purchase a gym initiation training package.

At Heights Fitness, we don’t believe that our clients should be charged twice. For however long a client commits to training, they are allowed to use the gym at no extra charge.
Other Questions

Yes. We will be offering classes at this location. The classes will take place in the 2nd floor studio.

At this time, we do not offer this service.

Due to a safety and liability issue, we cannot allow children on the premises.

16 and older for individual memberships.
12 years old - 15 years old can be added to your membership with parental supervision during every gym visit.

Yes. We offer Gift Certificates for every occasion. Purchase one via our website.
